[5 Jun 2024] Migration of Corppass e-Services to Authorize Server and Upgrade to Authorization API v2.0
We are excited to announce the update of our Corppass APIs (v2.0) in July 2024, which will be fully backward compatible with the existing version. This update brings Corppass APIs in compliance with OIDC standards, making it more reliable and resilient. It does not require changes to be made on partner services.
What's New?
- Enhanced UI. End-users associated with multiple entities will notice some UI enhancement during the UEN/entity selection process when logging in (link to user guide for UEN Selection changes here).
- Feature Parity & Backward compatibility. There are no major feature enhancements with this upgrade. You do not need to implement any changes; simply monitor your e-service for any issues.
Rollout Plan
To ensure a smooth transition, we have conducted thorough testing on the Staging environment with high volume e-services. The rollout will be carried out progressively as follows
- Staging Rollout. Staging rollout will take place in June. We started with the top 20 e-services on 4 Jun 2024, and will gradually ramp up other e-services to complete for all by the end of June 2024.
- Production Rollout. If no major issues are encountered during the Staging rollout, we will proceed with Production Rollout in July.

- We apologise that we cannot provide specific dates for each e-service - this approach allows our team to accelerate our migration schedule if no issues are found, or slow down accordingly if any concerns arise.
- The Corppass team will typically make changes earlier in the week, then allow for stabilisation over the remaining workdays. To minimise operational risks, no changes will be made near the weekends.

- Migration Support channel. If any e-service experiences issues or lack of access due to this migration, please report it through our dedicated web form (Submit a Request -> Corppass Authorization API v2.0 Migration). We will promptly address the issue and, if necessary, revert your service to the previous setup and re-plan your service’s migration.
- Other Considerations. If your service has an important activity scheduled during this period that requires de-risking, please submit a request and we will work out an arrangement with you.

Looking Ahead
We are continuously working on improving the Corppass platform. A key priority after this rollout is to introduce self-service onboarding and service management capabilities, details to be announced later.
